CHATEAU CHANGYU

Changyu Pioneer Wine Company, established in 1892, is China’s oldest and largest wine producer. The company has embarked on a program of building European-style château, architecturally based on examples from Bordeaux, show cased in Berry Bros. & Rudd. The Château Changyu Moser XV in Ningxia w as developed in consultation with Lenz Moser, the famous Austrian wine family. This is the second w ine from Changyu Moser XV.

100% CABERNET SAUVIGNON

VINIFICATION: 

AGED 12 MONTHS IN FRENCH OAK. FROM A SOIL COMPARED TO MENDOZA TERROIR.

TASTING NOTES:

WITH ITS RIGID STRUCTURE AND RESTRAINED FRUIT, THIS CABERNET CALLS TO MIND THE OLD WORLD RATHER THAN THE NEW ONE. AS SUCH, IT SHOULD SATISFY BOTH THE TRADITIONALIST AND THE ADVENTUROUS IN EVERY WINE DRINKER.

10% MERLOT

VINIFICATION: 

AGED 12 MONTHS IN FRENCH OAK. FROM A SOIL COMPARED TO MENDOZA TERROIR.

TASTING NOTES:

THERE IS PLENTY OF CABERNET CHARACTER, MATURE BERRY AROMAS SUCH AS BLACKCURRANT AND BLACKBERRY, A PLEASANT CEDAR, VANILLA AND OAK AROMAS AS WELL ARE BLENDED AND COORDINATED INTO THE FULL BODIED WINE. SOLID COMPLETE STRUCTURE AND WELL BALANCED.
